I signed the girls up for dance. Syd is my hip hop girl and Ash is my little ballerina. They have had one class so far. They love it! Sorry. I am challenged when it comes to technology. I couldn't figure out how to face the pictures the right way.

 

 

Ashlyn's first day of preschool

Ashlyn had her first day of school today. This is her second year being in preschool. She is going to the same lady and it's funny to think she is one of the older ones in her class. 

She got to be the captain today which means she brings the snack and is the leader in the class. My kids are growing up too fast!

Sydnee's first day of 1st grade

Syd started her first day of 1st grade on August 23. She loves it! Every night she goes right to bed knowing that when she wakes up it will be time for school again. I wonder how long the excitement of it will last? ;)

Her teachers name is Mrs. Knight. Her favorite part of the day is lunch and of course recess. She thinks lunch is pretty awesome.

 

When I was in elementary school I attended the same school she is at. That was about 20 years ago and it still looks and smells the way I remember it! It was good to walk around and have those memories.

This blog lives again

 I am attempting to start my blog again. I love reading others, and would like to share a piece of our lives. My family finally got my dads headstone that we have been fighting with the company over for quite some time. It looks beautiful.

Sydnee will be starting first grade in a few weeks and Ashlyn will be starting her second year of preschool. They are growing up so fast! Not sure how me and Ashlyn are going to handle Syd being gone all day. We will both miss her a lot.

This weekend we will be heading up to Idaho for a camping weekend with the Hollingsheads. I will post photos when I have them. The girls are crazy excited and hope they make the 5 1/2 hour car ride ok. We will get to meet our nephew/cousin for the very first time. Can't wait!
